the scientist sat with his head buried deep in his hands.
the room was a dingy one reminiscent of the dungeons of past,stony walls strewn with cracks,patches from where plaster had fallen off and stains of every dimension,colour and odour possible.added to that was a small gloomy sunlet high on the back wall.a single bulb suspended from the roof enlightened the battered ancient table which was evidently the work station of Brahma .
Brahma,the scientist had the body of a malnourished child but a head that reminded one of the pictographs found in the dwellings of cavemen from the prehistoric era.he was balding in patches and his gigantic skull was stained blending him perfectly with the walls around.his black coat had stains of chemicals which combined with the fact that half of his coat buttons were broken and that his shirt looked as if it was just taken out of a litter pile ,gave him an appearance of extreme poverty.however, the equipment around him betrayed the fact.
the scientist lifted his head up and looked at the bottle in front of him which contained a greyish liquid with just a slight hint of pink.his sunken  blue eyes sparkled when he looked at it and a grin broke upon his parched lips revealing a set of befitting charred teeth.he clenched his nervy fist and banged it hard upon the table as a resolute look leaped out of his stony eyes."no,I won't allow them to ruin my effort! they cannot deny me the taste of the fruit from the tree I nourished with my blood! if they don't want me to go ahead with it I will use it upon him.yes! there is still time before the cremation ,I still have a night.maybe,providence hurled such a curse upon us so that it may be used."he pocketed the bottle and crept silently out of the door which was barely supporting itself on broken hinges.
he tiptoed upstairs into the room where He lay.he who was his only son,his own blood.he had died barely two hours ago and now his lovely frame lay still and cold.death had robbed from him his virility...............
